This was salvaged when the Black Archives were burned in the Third Age.. I don't know what it's about, but it looks important..

Last Words[]

I came from a long journey. I journeyed  all of the North, South, West and East, and when I come home, I see something horrible. Ulmo, and other allies now hate me, they want to make a new Elvenking, and so they give me a Elf of the Eastern Deathlands, and say, bow to your King, filth.

I say "Bow to hell, I will not bow to this low class of Elf, especially from the Deathlands."

Eristor the Dark says "You will bow to me, and you will hail to me, for I will take your lands, and you will be my slave."

What could I do? Only fight. Aragorn didn't send help from Arnor to Lindon. If Amlaith obeyed, he would be beheaded. I talk to my only hope, the Trees of Fangorn. They say "Nay, for the great king Aragorn, told us to say nay, and if we say aye, great doom shall fall on the Forests." I was alone. And I bravely marched to the Vala Ulmo, and spit in his face, for he betrayed me for a Low Elf of the Deathlands. I was alone. And by Ulmo's trident, I am banished from Lindon. I did something before I left Lindon however. And I said "If I do not have the Throne of the Fair Realm, let no one have it!" And with a great blow, I destroyed the Throne. Only an Elven King could do that, for it was stronger than Bedrock, and Harder than Steel. I am now alone. I wish to sail to Valinor, however it is not Time yet. And I think my history is over. I am nothing. I am no one. But I will reclaim the throne.. Soon..

The Fall of Gil~Galad[]

Gil-galad was an Elven-king.
Of him the harpers sadly sing;
the last whose realm was fair and free
between the Mountains and the Sea.

His sword was long, his lance was keen.
His shining helm afar was seen;
the countless stars of heaven's field
were mirrored in his silver shield.

But long ago he rode away,
and where he dwelleth none can say;
for into darkness fell his star
in Mordor where the shadows are
.
